In Egypt the changes in Emad Fouad’s poetry did not go unnoticed, and were duly appreciated.  But some proved unacceptable.  The publisher of his latest collection refused to include a poem containing an explicit description of sexual activities.  This poem, ‘A Woman’, is the only one mentioned in the Arabic part of Fouad’s website (www.emadfouad.com) in the ‘Banned Poems’ section.
